A lesson on Finding
We do a lot of training in the mission. Every Zone Conference and Interview training we pick an area that our missionaries could use some improvement on. This time I chose Finding. When our missionaries don't have anyone to teach, they need to go and find them. That may include knocking on doors, street contacting, media referrals, etc. This is a very difficult area for missionaries. You have to be bold, go out of your comfort zone and have faith that Heavenly Father will direct you to those "who are seeking for the truth and know not where to find it". This was a visual activity where we discovered that we need to be wearing our "FINDING" hats all of the time, not just when we have some time to go out to find. We let them choose hats out of a bag along with an activity that a missionary always is involved in. The FINDING HAT is to be worn all the times. I think they enjoyed it!
